AAA Cash For Gold Review

*These reviews are based on our personal experiences with the individual cash for gold companies and our rating reflects our feelings regarding our transactions with them. Your experience with the gold refiner/dealer may fare better or worse. But we always try to give the most accurate representation of what you are likely to find.

It is always a good idea to do your own research and find the company that works for you. We do these reviews because it is important for anyone looking to sell their gold to understand that very few online gold buyers will actually give you what your gold is worth. You would be surprised how many cash for gold businesses payout less than half the current price of gold. And not everyone has the time to properly look through and research the hundreds of gold buyers that are out there today. We hope these reviews will give you an idea of what to expect and will help you to make a wise decision.

Overall:
AAA Cash for Gold is owned by AAA Gold Exchange, and they are yet another company claiming to provide the best service with one of the highest payouts. They have been in business since early 2008 and BBB accredited since late 2009 and hold an A- rating. They have had only 2 complaints filed against them, and the resolved one.
AAA Gold Exchange is another one of those companies making the claim that they offer one of the highest payouts in the country, and even provide a chart so you can compare with other companies. However the companies they are comparing themselves to, do not offer a high payout at all. Just by running a simple calculation you can see that AAA Gold Exchange pays about 60-70% of the current spot price of gold.
After taking a look over their website, we couldn’t find any mention of shipping insurance. They do claim to have a 100% satisfaction guarantee so we decided to call the toll free number for more information. Their customer service agent seemed really confused about the situation, and a quick question turned into a 4 minute call. They do not provide shipping insurance, and they only give their customers a 14-day money back guarantee.
Testing AAA Gold Exchange was a bit of a hassle overall. Their website is a little bit difficult to navigate for customers not looking to do business locally. Their customer service agents are ill-trained, and are not very helpful to their customers. They promote a pretty low payout, and are pretty accurate with their estimates. We sent in about $811 worth of gold and were unimpressed when a check for $521 came in the mail. So with low payouts, only a 14-day money back guarantee, and no shipping insurance offered, AAA Gold Exchange is not one of the premier gold buyers.
