It is always a good idea to do your own research and find the company that works for you. We do these reviews because it is important for anyone looking to sell their gold to understand that very few online gold buyers will actually give you what your gold is worth. You would be surprised how many cash for gold businesses payout less than half the current price of gold. And not everyone has the time to properly look through and research the hundreds of gold buyers that are out there today. We hope these reviews will give you an idea of what to expect and will help you to make a wise decision.

BrokenGold.com and SellGold.com are owned by the same company and so this review is pretty similar to our sellgold.com review. You might also know this company as USA Cash For Gold or Cash For Diamond Rings.
BrokenGold.com is not a Better Business Bureau accredited company but has still managed 25+ complaints (which have been resolved). They buy just about any item that contains gold like most gold buyers but they also buy silver and platinum as well. They have a pricing chart for gold but only for shipments over 10 troy ounces (which an average person would not have). Anything under that amount and you can expect a significantly less payment. And for silver and platinum they have no prices listed at all.
As with most online gold buyers these days, you can’t find many legitimate reviews out there. If you do find any they tend to be self promotions. Well this company takes it to the next level with an entire site of fake cash for gold reviews. It makes you think why would they have to do this?
Even though you can clearly see that you should be wary of this site, we did go ahead and send them some scrap gold to get a price estimate. We only sent them a small amount to see how low their pay scale really goes since most people only have very little gold to sell at a time. Our shipment was a broken 14k necklace and a simple 18k wedding band worth about $260. They were fairly quick in their turnaround time of 4 days but that doesn’t make up for their check which was only $94. We declined of course and asked them to send our shipment back which they did do (some don’t or charge you to).
You can see for yourself the numbers and make up your own mind, but for us personally, we won’t be using them again.
